About the author:

Lizelle Reymond , born on 30 June 1899, in the canton of Neuchâtel and died on 22 June 1994 in Geneva. She was a philosopher and orientalist who contributed to the introduction of Tai Chi Chuan in Europe as early as the 1970s. In 1947, after her marriage faiked, Lizelle Reymond went to India where she worked for the Ramakrishna Mission , which helped the Hindu refugees flock to Calcutta following the partition of the country.
